The Rise Of The Conservative Ideology Pt. II

The Rise Of The Conservative Ideology Pt. II

A continuation of the quote from Joslin in Part I

The incontrovertible fact is that never before in the history of our country has a more thoroughly organized , definite campaign been inaugurated  by any political agency against the person of the President of the United States, whoever he happened to be, than the “Smear Hoover” campaign.  Backed by the expenditure of great sums of money, its sponsors persistently and consistently pursued the purposes of embarrassing, distorting, and misrepresenting Mr. Hoover so he would be destroyed politically.

The whole strategy was organized on the premise that if Mr. Hoover could be discredited before the public, the Democratic party would win the 1932 election.  Notwithstanding that the Democratic National Committee had a large deficit, it disbursed vast amounts of money provided by Chairman Raskob personally and through his banking friends in New York to defame Mr. Hoover and thus regain control of the Federal Government.  It succeeded in each purpose.

Mr. Michelson, who wielded a trenchant pen and had a keen understanding of politics, was placed in charge of the so-called Educational Bureau of the committee.  Every act of Mr. Hoover, great or small, was made the object of attack.  Through his term, literally thousands of press releases, communications, speeches, [tweets} etc. were made public.  Each and every one was derogatory of the President and his works.  The retrospective examination of them would require volumes.

The above quote is from Joslin’s Hoover Off The Record as begun in Part I.

Hoover was in the unfortunate position that he had to be destroyed, humiliated and deemed an absolute failure so that the Democrats’ Man On A White Horse, FDR, could be elected.  If Hoover had been allowed to succeed as he was on the way of doing then it would have been a long, long time before the Dems could regain the presidency.

The Dems then pulled out all the stops and waged a campaign of total defamation as Joslin says.  The same is true today with President Trump.  His successes  will be labeled failures and any failures will be depicted as catastrophes.  If he succeeds it is over for the Dems for the foreseeable future so they must sabotage anything he does.  They will.  Attack whatever they say as they will attack whatever we say.

Their propaganda will be of defamation of the President and defamation of anyone who openly supports him including physical violence.  Intimidation.  They are an amoral lot playing Machiavellian politics.  Brady and Billichick have been defamed for even speaking to the President.  These people are vicious.  Constant support and counter-defamation is necessary to counter this.  Stop trying to argue rationally with the Dems.  Scorn them, within accepted forms and limitations so that one appears  virtuous, but show no mercy and never spare them.

Boycotts are a weapon both sides will use.  Pick our targets and boycott them.  Boycott Hollywood.  Never go to the theatre, their main source of income, the crap is going to show up on TV anyway.  Get yourself a subscription service like Netflix if you must watch the crap, but non-attendance at theatres will bring Hollywood crashing to the ground.  See what Streep and Cooney shout then.

Boycott SNL.  Destroy their ratings.  Let them preach to the choir.  Who cares.  Don’t even mention them.  That is easy to do with only a modicum of self-control.

This is a fight to the finish.  Are we not men or women?  What is impossible to us?  Nothing.  The war on Hoover shows how the Dems operate.  There will be no surprises.  It will be the same with President Trump.  Go for the jugular, show no mercy, and cast them down.
