A Review: The National Enquirer-
Impeach Trump
by
R.E. Prindle
American
politics have been shattered by the election of the new direction candidate
Donald Trump. The hateful hysterical
reaction of the Left is unparalleled.
Although many tempests and hate campaigns have disfigured many
elections- one thinks of Hoover’s presidency, Roosevelts long years in office,
the unpopularity of Truman, the hate campaign against Johnson, and the
actual driving from office of Nixon they
are nothing compared to the seething campaign of hatred against President
Trump.
The
President himself seems to have prepared himself for it and indeed is giving
back everything he is getting. One
wonder how one can top grandmothers and mothers embarrassing their sons by
parading the streets in caps symbolic of their vulvas but there they are. I shudder to think of my meres wearing their vulvas on their heads in
private, no less than in public. Thankfully
I was spared such distress by their both
having parting ways with the living.
Good decision on their part.
The press
also has gone to pieces not flinching from publishing defamatory pieces in an
orgy of licentiousness along with much fake news. This elicited the protestations from the
President to pay no attention to any MSM news about him because it was
fake. Misinformation, disinformation,
directed information or what have you, but fake. I well believe it.
With all
this fake news where is one to turn.
Standing in line at the grocery store the cover story on the originator,
so to speak, of fake news, The National Enquirer, caught my attention. I’d already passed over all the Oprah titles. The Enquirer was coming to the President’s
defense.
OBAMA’S
SECRET PLOT TO IMPEACH TRUMP the headline shrieked. In a little medallion to the right: Constitutional Crisis Explodes.
And then two
bullets: EXPOSED: Plan to SABOTAGE Muslim
ban & dramatic executive orders.
REVEALED: How Donald WILL FOIL TREASONOUS power grab.’
I have to
confess I was seeing those headlines unfolding in the daily news so I could
hardly resist buying the mag for the inside story. Sometimes, you know, the Enquirer is right on. Was it all stuff and nonsense as I expected? Well, no.
The story seems to mesh with what I was seeing and hearing.
NEWS, the
article proclaimed: Obama is behind the
scenes attempting to sabotage Trump’s presidency. Well, that was obvious. The President had no sooner taken office than
Obama and Clinton published a picture with the caption: Miss us yet?
Quite clearly Obama was missing Air Force One and those wonderful
helicopter rides with a bunch of White boys standing to attention and saluting
him. Enough to turn anyone’s head,
especially a boy working the streets of Chicago as a community organizer. What an elevation.
Then the
headline in one inch letters: Obama’s
Back Room Plot To Impeach Trump.
That wasn’t
too hard to believe as thousands of disgruntled Liberals were rioting while
shouting the same thing. Apparently they
thought it was enough of a crime that all we Deplorable knuckledraggers elected
Trump.
The snappy
leading phrase of the article is enough to open anyone’s eyes wide, wide,
wide. This followed: Treasonous puppet master Barack Obama is
pulling the strings on a coordinated conspiracy across multiple agencies to
sabotage the Trump administration. That’s
not too hard to believe, obvious even, what with four top State Department
officials resigning just after the President took office.
The whole
plot is apparently going to hinge on the 25th Amendment to the
Constitution. I didn’t know there were
twenty-five. I thought it was fake, National Enquirer and all, but it wasn’t, it
exists and a lot of people were logging on to the site.
The
Amendment is basically a formula for unseating a sitting president without
going to the trouble of impeaching. All
you need is a conspiracy within the Cabinet and other key officials to say the
President is incapable of filling the office.
Sort of an elite recall provision.
I wonder who thought that one up and why.
Such a thing
is unlikely to happen in the first two years and if the Republicans returned a
larger majority in the two houses in 2018 it might be impossible.
At any rate
supposing the Obama coup succeeds, according to the article, Obama and his
henchmen would reverse the Constitutional amendment limiting a president to two
terms allowing him to be elected in 2020.
Seems a little fanciful but stranger things have happened however
without a Democratic majority in both houses I don’t think it would be
possible.
The mid-term
elections may be crucial.
But,
imagine, the only intelligent news happening, real news, is coming from the
National Enquirer while he MSM is
generating fake news. Oh well, the
Enquirer bills itself as: The only
publication with guts to tell it like it is.
That may be true standing the media world on its head.
