America's Rendezvous With Fate And Destiny

America’s Rendezvous With

Fate And Destiny

America’s rendezvous with Fate and Destiny are upon us.  American history is roughly composed of four epochs: The first from Colonial times to the Civil War, the second the Gilded Age from the Civil War to the end of the Hoover Administration, the third from Franklin Delano Roosevelt to the end of Obama with the Fourth Epoch beginning with the Trump Administration.  The epochal transitions have been traumatic and this one bodes to be no less so.  The so-called democracy will end but hopefully the Republic will survive.

It takes a universe of tiny raindrops to form a great river so my little example here of the ending of the Third Epoch should be taken with the amusement that is its intent.  Time Magazine, perhaps one of the greatest symbols of the Third Epoch has fallen on hard times, the end is near.  Once the arbiter of America’ cultural affairs now its death rattle can be heard throughout the land.

On February 11th, I received a solicitation from Time in the mail offering me a ‘Senior’s’ subscription.  They must have bought the mailing list from AARP.  The solicitation is a direct appeal to its last surviving constituency.  It offered me for 20.00 fifty-three weekly issues, an Ultronic Weather Station clock, to tick off my last days apparently, and an additional six month extension, all for twenty dollars.  That’s a money loser, the magazine has virtually no advertising so someone must be keeping the magazine alive.  When it goes it will be an epitaph for the epoch.

But what of the future?  What of America’s ultimate destiny?  Obama left office with the US in virtual ruins, his legacy I suppose, literally divided, fractured, in many ways.  Any sense of sanity has evaporated.  People march for the sake of marching using pink symbols of the female vulva on their heads, marches by voters demanding the voter’s rights they have just exercised.   Sure, they lost but there is no guarantee you’ve got a winner’s vote.

Even Obama who got used to the accoutrements of power is unhappy.  No longer able to take multi-million dollar vacations at the voter’s expense in Air Force One or helicopter rides here and there, he is essentially refusing to give up power setting up an alternate government in New York in the hopes of making Trump’s presidency a two year affair.  Yes, he’s giving Trump two years and out.  By constant political agitation he hopes to drive Trump from office in 1918, expecting a huge Congressional surge in 2018 toward the Democrats that he hopes to use to set aside the Constitutional Amendment limiting a President to two terms, clearing the way for his reelection in 2020.

Never very bright, Obama fails to see looming on the horizon a candidate of formidable ability- Jeff Bezos.  Bezos now the virtual arbiter of retail America with fingers deep into many aspects of commerce he has his eye set on the 2020 election for himself.  A couple years ago he bought the Washington Post newspaper.  Paid the asking price without a qualm.

The Post was losing money bigly.  One wondered what its use was intended to be.  Apparently to further Jeff’s political objectives.  Perhaps it gives him an incomparable listening post in the Capital.  He used his paper to defame now President Trump during the election.  One assumes that that will be its purpose during Trump’s administration as well as to build up his own candidacy.  He will have to unmask himself sometime in 2019 if that is his intent.

Just now he has taken full credit for thwarting the President’s  immigration order suspending entry from certain countries.  We hear that Amazon’s corporate legal staff prepared the whole objection giving it to the Ninth Circuit’s Seattle judge who declared the executive order unconstitutional.  I would think this places the Amazon Corporation in a difficult position.  Do its Articles of Incorporation include political activities?  Well, Bezos, an obvious genius, knows his business, one supposes.

Thus, at the commencement of the Fourth Epoch we have the Constitutional President, a disgruntled ex-president and a businessman of unexampled power in physical combat for the 2020 election.  Has anyone read of the same sort of contest in Roman history?

Of course other threats may unreel but to be an effective president Trump has to neutralize both Obama and Bezos.  He cannot effectively govern while defending himself from if not criminal, near criminal activities from them.

As regards Obama, I would just exile him; give him twenty-four hours to leave on his own or he would be put on a commercial flight back home to Kenya.  Probably his associates in crime should be exiled too.

As for Bezos, there are the anti-trust laws to break up his various enterprises under the Amazon umbrella.  That should keep him busy.  Amazon itself has violated something by interjecting themselves into governmental affairs.  That might also fall under anti-trust provisions.

The point being that the President cannot sit idly and allow these two men to operated openly against him. The so-called democracy is over.  Left with the Third Epoch.  Both Obama and Bezos are authoritarian personalities with extreme delusions of grandeur, Narcissism, acting as autocrats.  This cannot be allowed in the Republic.  The institution of exile must be revived to deal with this dangerous situation.

The President is the President, he must do what he must to protect the country from enemies from without and more importantly within.  Obama and Bezos could drive the country to civil war and no one wants that.  An ounce of prevention…  It is the President’s Constitutional duty to remedy.  There would be no violation of law.  Exile is certainly within his options.

Act now, quickly and firmly deal with revolutionary dissidents as a president must.
