A Review of Fareed Zakaria In Foreign Affairs

Zakaria, Fareed: The New China Scare, Foreign Affairs, Jan-Feb 2020

Mr. Zakaria subtitles his screed:  Why America Shouldn’t Panic About Its Latest Challenger, that is, China.  My objection to Foreign Affairs, Mr. Zakaria and the whole Leftist-Liberal Establishment is that while professing to be far in advance than the Conservatives they cling to the whole post-WWII fantasy of American hegemony or supremacy.  That time is gone.  We are now living in a new Global era which is inter-locked economically while national sovereignty is taking a much diminished role.

Because of the shifting of whole national populations into the United States it is no longer possible, if it ever was, to speak of a unit called America.  America was a dream of the past.  Because of the extreme diversity of the US there is not one but several ethnic Americas.  The Chinese themselves already have a significant presence in the US and are inundating our neighbor to the North, Canada.  These domestic Chinese identify more with China than the US so it is not appropriate to speak of a China while disregarding its ex-pats in the rest of the world.  It is more or a Chinese diaspora and has to be dealt with as such.

Mr. Zakaria is himself a Moslem and in speaking of his ‘chosen’ country he speaks of it as an other and not as his own.  Thus in his subtitle he speaks that ‘America shouldn’t Panic.’  We, who have been born here, perhaps several generations ago, don’t recognize the China problem as panic, we recognize China as a competitor on the world stage that is seeking world dominance or, put another way, it wants to be the Top Country.  China being 90 some percent of the same ethnic group, Han Chinese doesn’t have the identity problem that the US does.  China does not cater to its minority peoples they dominate and subordinate them as with the Uigurs on its Eastern frontier.  Nor are they polite; they round the Uigurs up, put them in concentration camps and ‘indoctrinate’ them out of their ways, which are Moslem, into Chinese ways.  If Europe or the US would attempt that the world, including the Chinese, would put up a howl.  Yet if the West wants to maintain its culture it must ‘indoctrinate’ its minorities as the Chinese do.  Even the Hindus of India have belatedly become aware that their culture is under threat from the Moslems and repressive measures are being taken.

Let us be clear there is no China Scare in the US contrary to Mr. Zakarias assertion.  We are dealing with the new Global situation on a calm rational basis.

By a New China Scare Mr. Zakaria does not mean to refer to a second China scare, he is referencing the defensive measures taken against the Communist threat after WWI and WWII.  By ‘scare’ he means an irrational response to an imaginary threat.  Thus he tries to force the facts to fit his narrative. 

In point of fact there was a Communist threat that had to be quelled.  After WWI the alert and astute Attorney General A. Mitchell Palmer rose to the occasion rounding the Communists up and actually deporting a few hundred to the Socialist Homeland, the Soviet Union.  His efforts were compromised by the Domestic Reds in prominent positions.

After WWII HUAC rose to the occasion abetted by 1950 with the activities of the courageous Senator Joseph McCarthy who also were defeated by internal Communist forces, but the Communist momentum was derailed after both wars and forced to reorganize.

Now, Zakaria follows the official CIA line in which ignorant American fears dominate their actions.  Thus they say that in both the aftermath of WWI and WWII there were no Communist threats and the effective responses to defuse those threats were merely panic attacks.  While our great generals had won the wars and our brave American soldiers had outfought their terrible enemies immediately on arriving home they had panic attacks rather than recognizing enemy tactics.  In WWI Mitchell Palmer who acted so magnificently has been defamed as a paranoid dodo.

After WWII Pres. Truman’s actions are characterized this way by Zakaria following the CFR playbook:

In February 1947, US President Harry Truman huddled with his most senior policy advisors, George Marshall, and Dean Acheson and a handful of Congressional leaders.  The topic was the administration’s plan to aid the Greek government in the fight (scary response in Mr. Zakaria’s thought processes) against a Communist insurgency.  Marshall and Acheson presented their case for the plan.  Arthur Vandenberg, chair of the Senate Committee On Foreign Relations, listened closely and then offered his support with a caveat.  “The only way you are going to get what you want,” he reportedly told the president, “is to make a speech and scare the hell out of the country.”

Now, one might say that Pres. Truman, acting in his capacity and duty as the President, presented his speech to alert the country to the threat of World Communist domination which was real and imminent at the time having been encouraged by the Communist sympathizer former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt who Vice President Truman succeeded after having been purposely kept ignorant of the world situation even though Roosevelt was obviously a sick and dying man.

Zakaria says that Pres. Truman was not rational but an irrational scare tactician manipulating the country to get what he wanted.  Zakaria could have co-written Howard Zinn’s trashy history.  This is the way that the Left discredits by insinuation and defamatory characterization ignoring the facts.

Mr. Zakaria continues:

Over the next few months, Truman did just that.  He turned the civil war in Greece into a test of the United States ability to confront international communism.

You see how Zakaria turns the situation from an internationally communist backed insurgency into a civil war, and instead of an international defense against the spread of communism into an ego test of the United States ability to confront international communism.  Obviously Truman and the US was at fault and not Joseph Stalin and international communism.  Thus we go from a communist insurgency to a civil war, to a ‘test’ against international communism.  This says something as to why the CFR would allow such trash in their magazine.

Reflecting on Truman’s expansive rhetoric about aiding democracies anywhere, anytime, Acheson confessed in his memoirs that the administration had made an argument “clearer than truth.”  Something similar is happening today in the American debate about China.

Unquote.

Not the negative characterization of the phrase ‘Truman’s expansive rhetoric about aiding democracies anytime, anywhere’ and Acheson ‘confessed.’  Did he really confess or merely state what might have been an obvious truth to him.  And his ‘clearer than truth’ may be meant positively rather than negatively.  It can possibly be read both ways but Zakaria make Acheson ‘confess’ which is negative.  This is the Leftist way.

Perhaps English is Mr. Zakaria’s second language while Arabic is his first. Oh, I know, I know, even though Mr. Zakaria is a Moslem he is as ‘American’ as apple pie.  He may even have been born here, right?

Mr. Zakaria says that similar to the ‘Red Scares’ is happening today  in the American debate about China.  Not true, there is nothing similar at all.  This is a different time, different circumstances and a different grope for power.  What Americans should panic about is Mr. Zakaria’s being given space to spin his anti-American vitriol.  Would it be out of line to ask from which university Mr. Zakaria received his degree in history?

Why Socialism Always Fails

Back before 1917 there were a bunch of Socialist punk conspirators called Bolsheviki who were led by a punk called Vladimir Lenin.  These punks mainly clubbed around Switzerland talking about Social Justice and other incomprehensible stuff  and how they would create the Workers’ Paradise if only they got the chance.

Well, during WWI the dumb Germans gave them their chance, put them in a few sealed cattle cars and shipped them from Switzerland to the Finland Station.  When they got to St. Petersburg, later called Leningrad, then again St. Petersburg, they really didn’t know what to do except hang around but for one punk with the unlikely name of Trotsky.  Trotsky got the ball rolling and the Bolsheviki took over.  They were now in control of the biggest, richest country in the world.  But, they were still at a loss of what to do except throw people in jail and kill them.  In their zeal for Social Justice, as witnessed by all those prisoners, they forgot one thing- it takes a lot of money to make things work.

None of them had ever had any money so they probably didn’t know what to do to get it unless they stole it, their usual method.  So, they had this great big country but they didn’t have a clue.  Well, there’s only two ways to get money and that is to borrow, work for it, or steal it.  Is that three ways?  Really?  Well, three then.  They didn’t know how to do the middle part so that left borrowing and stealing.  That’s two.  Isn’t that what I said?

There weren’t any socialists with money around so the only people with money were the capitalists.  Some called that planning; others called it theft.   They were a happy prosperous lot, already driving around in Cadillac cars, Fords for the hoi polloi otherwise known as workers, and flying airplanes. 

The Bolsheviki tapped the first source.  The Kuhn Loebs and the Rothschilds of the world were only too anxious to funnel millions their way.  However, let us not overlook the fact that it takes more than millions to run the biggest country in the world.

The Bosheviki had already destroyed the Russian economy because the word economics smells of Capitalism. So they looked around and discovered the accumulated wealth of things in Russia.  For a few hundred years  the Russians had been making money and buying things so they had lots of stuff like famous pictures, diamonds and jewelry and fur coats, the churches were loaded with artefacts so to these Bolsheviki who didn’t understand making money to buy this stuff, this stuff looked valuable, the real thing.  Same as money, right?  Guess what they did.  They stole it.  The greatest heist of all time.  This was sensational.  They looted the people who had the stuff and drove them out of the country.  There went the productive people of Russian society.

Now they had warehouses of this stuff.  Warehouses and warehouses, thousands of used fur coats and this other used stuff.  Second hand.  But, you can’t run a country because you possess heaps of decorative crap.   They had to sell those stolen goods to get at the cash.  Who had the cash to buy this junk?  You guessed it!  People in the so-called Capitalist countries.  So these criminals had to set up fences to turn this stuff into cash.  They recruited, amongst others, some American (loosely defined) shlub to help move this crap by the name of Armand Hammer.  Imagine the Bolsheviki found a guy named Arm and Hammer.  What a coincidence.

So Armand Hammer packed a bunch of stolen pictures, sounds like the Nazis doesn’t it, under his arm and beat the bushes of the US finding people to buy this stuff, really nice pictures too.  He didn’t have much trouble.  The Mellons, the Edward G. Robinsons lined up to get these bargains.  So it was all over the world.  The Smithsonian bought some, other museums bought this stolen artwork and they knew where it came from too.  When it came to diamonds even the British monarchs bought some of the Russian crown jewels, those of the Czars.  What a wonderful time to have a few spare dollars hey?

But you know how it is with fenced goods.  They go for a fraction of their value.  Even with loans the proceeds weren’t enough to run the country.  The Bolsheviki got desperate.  They formed the NEP.  New Economic Policy.  Oh, oh, that word that smacks of Capitalism.  But now, guess what?  Work worked.  The country began to prosper.  But then the Bolsheviki realized that they were dabbling in Capitalism so they knocked that crap off right away and the country sank back into absolute poverty.

So that’s why Socialism will never work.  Because Socialists don’t understand the function of money.  They think money just exists like water.  If you have a barrel of water it gets used up and no more water.  That’s ow money worked, they thought.  There’s only so much and greedy Capitalists have discovered ways to capture all the money leaving none for the poor.  They never think of refilling the barrel.  And that friends is why Socialism always fails.  Socialists aren’t very bright.

A Recapitulation And Exit

 

Having run through the sequence of events of the Second Thirty Years War I think it necessary to make some background reflections.  The first nine sections, about 30,000 words have been published here on the internet.  Most of what I’ve written has been new to the readers who have commented.  It seems necessary then to offer a few explanations.

When one begins to write one seemingly has a clear idea of what one intends but the end product upon review indicates a somewhat different perspective.  It seems to me at points that the text was written by someone other than myself.  What is, is.

And so it is with the historical actors.  What they thought they were doing is understood differently, perhaps, by those watching and those analyzing.  Of course, different analysts have different assumptions and perspectives.  The conventional histories of the period, at least those taught in universities uniformly have a Leftist, Jewish slant.  Thus, Howard Zinn seems to be the most read historian of those commenting and behind him Arthur Schlesinger, Kearns Goodwin and similar Jewish Leftists.  Their slant should be quite obvious.

This writer, then, isn’t surprised to be considered anti-Semitic by such a fraternity.  And, I suppose, if readers reject my interpretation of history, which is soundly based on facts, one can only consider them indoctrinated and conditioned, what may be considered orthodox.  Orthodoxy is, of course, a form of bigotry.  The most I can say is that if the facts appeared differently to me I would have written the history differently.  What is, is and cannot not be.

Thus, any histories of the period that fail to emphasize the activities of Bernard Baruch, who billed himself as the most powerful man in America are missing a most significant point.  From random inquiries by myself there are but few people who have ever heard of Bernard Baruch and any who have know nothing about him.  Indeed, before I began this study though I had heard of Bernard Baruch, who for some mysterious reason was supposed to have been important, I knew little about him.  Perhaps a few words may clarify his position in the times.

Baruch bears a close resemblance to the Jud Suss.  I think the key fact about Baruch is his ownership of his huge estate in South Carolina called The Hobcaw Barony.  Many thought the name Barony made Baruch a Baron and he was sometimes addressed as such.  I consider the Barony to have been a strategic move on the part of Baruch.  Born in 1870, by 1900 he had made a fortune in Wall Street.  If you remember he began life as a gambler but soon saw that the only successful gamblers bet only on sure things, fixed horse races and what not.  If you’re in on the fix you’re a sure winner, if not you’re one of the losers.  Such a course would lead inevitably to associating with coarse types and brushes with the law.  Better to go to Wall Street where shady practices had been institutionalized and made lawful but still disreputable.  He would be a speculator and respond to unsavory accusations.

Having made his fortune at thirty the future of merely amassing money seemed sort of barren and probably at that time Baruch fixed his fantasies on politics, or what was called public service, much more respectable.  In 1905-07 to establish a base of influence he began to acquire his sixteen thousand acres, many square miles of Hobcaw Barony.  The Barony, still existent, is located on Waccamaw Neck, South Carolina, even at the time the Barony had a history of a couple centuries, so Baruch was associating himself with the earliest colonists.

It has the Old Manse, what the Negroes would have called The Big House, many shacks for the Black Folk and miles and miles of waterways, square miles of woods and fields.  Wonderful hunting, shooting, cruising and fishing.  If you want to impress and Baruch did, he had the location.  It was the perfect political tool and Baruch knew how to use it.  He spared no expense.

Bernard began fishing around for a political entry.  At this time of maximum immigration when millions of Eastern Jews were entering prejudices against Jews ran fairly high and Baruch was, of course, what was called a Hebrew then.  Also working against him was his reputation as a Wall Street gambler, speculator to put it nicely.

As noted, every year brought another half million Jews to these welcoming shores and Jewish influence was growing rapidly.  The transition from President Teddy Roosevelt to William Howard Taft in 1908 was a little too early but in 1912 opportunity opened its doors to the Jews.  A fish appeared from South Carolina via New Jersey, not Hobcaw Barony but close, by the name of Woodrow Wilson.  Baruch and the Jews fastened onto Wilson like a lamprey eel on a trout.

There was a problem with Wilson, he was a bit limp, not palatable, there was no contest between Taft and Wilson.  Opportunity must be seized by the scruff of the neck and neither Baruch nor his fellow Jews were daunted.  A rift appeared between Taft and Roosevelt.  The latter had returned from his African shooting jaunt to discover that Taft hadn’t been governing to this liking.

The Jews cleverly stepped in whispering a third party and this became the famous Bull Moose Party.  Unknowingly TR committed the crime of the century.  He split the Republican vote allowing the Socialist, Wilson to be elected.  TR had enough votes to defeat Taft but too few to defeat Wilson.  Then Wilson and the Jews slipped in.  Socialism had arrived in the US under the sobriquet of Wilson’s New Freedom.  It was neither new nor free.

Piles of Baruch’s money had been contributed to elect Wilson.  While other Jewish donors crowded around Wilson for their rewards Baruch stood back rather than accept a minor post and in his eyes demeaning position.  In 1913 appointing a Jew to important positions would have caused a row crippling Wilson so he had to be circumspect.  However, he broke the Jewish barrier in 1916 when he appointed the Jew Louis Brandeis to the Supreme Court.  Brandeis was always looked at askance.

Baruch had contributed big to get Wilson elected while talking him up to his fellow Jews.  However, he and Wilson had become buds.  They understood each other. Baruch had ingratiated himself and Wilson accepted him at face value.  After a fashion a revolution no less momentous than the Menshevik Revolution in Russia five years later had taken place.  Both revolutions were spearheaded by the Jews.

By this time Baruch was burdened by his reputation as the Bear of Wall Street, a somewhat unsavory title.  He had begun to use Hobcaw Barony for its intended purpose, that of charming and serving people who might be important to him.

To be invited to the Barony for a holiday was a desirable situation.  What could be more delightful?  Thus, Baruch was treated with commensurate consideration.  He was a man to be on the right side of.  He was the consummate Jew, considerate and obliging on the outside but haughty, proud and vain on the inside.  His vanity was well known and politely ignored. On an annual gathering of the ex-WIB personnel in the thirties a bust of himself was given him as a present.  He accepted it with no show of the funnin’.

From 1913 he busied himself about Wilson’s White House while Hobcaw Barony would play an important part.  The Old Manse was stocked with the finest liquors and wines both before and after prohibition.  The food was superb; Negro flunkeys attended to all needs.  Baruch know how to make his money work.

Of course, it was money obtained by fixing outcomes of stock prices and required little effort to acquire while being readably renewable.  Perhaps a representative description of what a sojourn at Hobcaw was like can be found in one of FDR’s sons Elliot Roosevelt’s Eleanor Roosevelt mystery novels titled Murder at Hobcaw Barony.

While fictional the novel employs a mix of actual celebrities and a couple fictional characters.  Obviously the murderer has to be fictional.  In the novel for instance the actor Humphrey Bogart figured prominently as well as the Roosevelts.  The high point of the novel is the Saturday Night fish fry in which Whites mix with Negroes in the revelry.  Mix may not be the right word but let us say the Whites condescended to associate with the Negroes and receiving the adulation of both Blacks and Whites.  It was a wonderful party at which a good time was had by all. My point is that it would be a sad thing not to be on the good side of Bernie Baruch.  Not a little of Baruch’s power came from Hobcaw Barony.

The Barony eventually passed to his daughter, Belle, by sale.  She died in 1964 leaving the estate as a legacy to the State.  Baruch survived his daughter by a year dying in 1965 at the age of ninety-five.

Thus, Baruch had a magnificent position with Wilson stained a little by his reputation as a Wall Street speculator.  However, he was A1 with his bud, President Woodrow Wilson.  This paid off in 1917 when as the US entered the war Baruch angled for the job of the Czar of the WIB, War Industries Board.

War had changed a great deal from the age of, say, Napoleon.  War no longer involved generals and small professional armies fighting pitched battles with rather primitive but improving weapons.  In 1914, the first of modern war, perhaps barring the Boer War, meant the whole population was at war employing the resources of the whole country- a concept called Total War.  At the beginning of the war the nations didn’t fully realize this even as lines of warfare stretched across hundreds and hundreds of miles with millions and millions of men employing weapons that blew the men and environment apart.

Watching from the sidelines for three quarters of the war Wilson and his government drew certain conclusions and when the US entered the war the entire country with all its resources were mobilized.  Chief of this mobilization, it’s ‘Czar’, was Bernard Baruch.

Baruch was a Jew and the Second Thirty Years War was a Jewish war against Europe.  The nineteenth century and the rise of the US changed all the dynamics of the world situation.  For the Jews the US was the New Promised Land.  American were naïve suckers and the Jews took full advantage.

As the mass of new Jewish immigrants came from Eastern Europe and the war of the Jews against Russia and its Czar, they brought old negative habits with them.  One of these was the tradition of the blood libel.  It was unknown in the US so that a tradition had to be established.  This was not so easy.  But, in Russia in 1913 a Blood Libel accusation was lodged against one Menahem Beilis that was almost certainly manufactured for political purposes while in the US  in the same year the Leo Frank case arose in the State of Georgia.

If one believes Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver in his book Messianism In The History of the Jews, and I do, he says that when the belief of an individual messiah was destroyed by the failure of one Sabbatai Zevi in 1666 that the Jewish international government decided that the whole Jewish people would have to be their own messiah without supernatural help.  Hence the search began to effect this goal, what was now a political and social revolution, an attack on Aryan society.  The template was worked out by a Joseph Oppenheimer, he was known as the Jew Suss, in the South of Germany in the 1730-40s.  It was perfected and effectuated but the Rothschilds beginning a couple decades later. Thus, the date of the Revolution was set for 1913-28.  The significance then of the Jews backing Wilson is made clear along with a number of developments from 1910-13, not least of which was securing the control of US currency by the establishment of the Jewish wholly owned Federal Reserve.

Having inadequate physical means of control, the Redemption would have to be achieved by asymmetrical warfare, by psychological means.  As it happened a messiah of sorts, a guide, appeared about 1895 in the person of the Viennese Jewish psychologist, Sigmund Freud.  Using Slightly different terms Freud determined that the best method for allowing a peaceful Redemption was to change the mores of Europeans and by extension North America.  Emasculation and guilt would be the front along which the battle would form.

Hence it is not coincidental that the Beilis and Frank affairs took place in 1913, the former in Europe and the latter in the US.  For whatever reason the Jews love these two incidents that are held up as supreme examples of European or Aryan injustice.  The Beilis Affair is less important here than the Leo frank murder trial in Atlanta, Georgia beginning in 1913.  Very fortuitous indeed, although straining credibility.  It is necessary to report this event, then, here in some detail.

Leo Frank was a young Jew sent down from NYC to run a pencil factory in Atlanta Georgia.   He employed and exploited exclusively young girls.  He apparently took a fancy to one.  Thus, as a festival was being celebrated on a Saturday Frank withheld the Friday paycheck of a couple dollars of his choice, requiring her to come in to pick it up on the mentioned festival Saturday when he and she would be alone except for the Negro janitor.  So, only two suspects for this murder were possible.  Either the Jew Frank or the Negro janitor.  The janitor was sent home for the day leaving Frank as the sole possibility for the girl’s murder.  Her body was found in the vicinity of the janitor’s quarters to implicate him.

This ploy failed.  Frank was tried and found guilty, sentenced to death.  In need of a ‘blood libel’ type cause the New York City Jews of the American Jewish Committee were galvanized into action led by their redoubtable president, Louis Marshall.  A national campaign was organized to convict the Georgians of being inveterate bigots accusing an innocent Jew.

The entire political Jewish organization was mobilized.  Albert Lasker, now unknown but then a famous advertising executive, was put in charge of arousing public opinion in favor of Frank.  He claims he put in a stellar performance arousing the entire country, even overselling his case.  However, he erred in portraying the Georgians as ‘deplorables’ and Southern louts.

He himself interviewed Frank in prison.  He says he found him a thoroughly objectionable person who he hated.  Strong word.  He believed that Frank had killed the girl, but a job is a job, orders must be followed and he had to try to get him off.  By whatever means the governor of Georgia was persuaded to remit the death sentence.  You didn’t have to be too prescient to realize the next step was to get Frank released and spirited out of Georgia.

The infuriated Georgians stormed Frank’s jail, seized the man and strung him up.  As far as Marshall and the AJC was concerned this was an ideal outcome that could be turned to account in establishing the guilt of the ‘blood libel’ in the US.  Against all evidence the AJC proclaimed Frank an innocent victim of prejudice.  White guilt was paraded publicly; Frank was another innocent Jew in their four thousand year history destroyed by a rabid goyish mob.  If American’s had little reason for guilt before, Frank’s death gave the Jews something to rally around.  Hence the constant references to the Frank affair that today’s Whites have no knowledge of and presumably couldn’t care less.  Today a monstrously large plaque has been erected under the tree Frank hung suspended reminding Georgians of what animals they’re supposed to be.

Along with Robert E. Lee statues this plaque should be removed and thrown in the garbage.  Frank was guilty.  This whole brouhaha had taken place a scant three years before Baruch finagled his position on the War Industries Board.  With his appointment to the WIB began a tumultuous decade in US history.  Both Baruch and Albert Lasker would figure prominently in it.

As Freud pointed out the attack would be on American mores and customs.  These must be displaced and replaced by Jewish mores and customs.  American must be collectivized as were the Jews and their individualistic laissez faire identity replaced by regimentation.  Baruch in conjunction with Wilson would go a long way to do that.  Their tragedy was that the war was too short; it ended before they could finalize their plans.

Actually, US industry had tried to form collectives in the nineteenth century.  They were called Trusts or cartels.  In reaction, the first decade of the twentieth century was one of trust busting, but now, in one fell swoop, Baruch organized all of American industry into one huge trust of many divisions.

At the same time millions of men were drafted into the Army where they were stripped of as much individuality as could be while on the civilian side George Creel, another bud of Wilson’s, was regimenting citizens into a unified way of thinking.  If anyone made a fuss about it, he was condemned to prison.  Naturally the direction was toward Socialism.  The war state was a Socialist state.

Socialism is a collectivization and collectivization is thorough regulated Judaism.  Under Baruch’s guidance the population was being regulated and collectivized.  Industry was organized into industrial units no different than trusts or cartels.  It is difficult to say what the industrial information Baruch collected was used for.  All companies were required to submit their vital statistics. One may be sure that the info was shared by the Jewish government that gave them intimate knowledge of the organization of each company.

It should be clear that Baruch shared this information with Jewish agencies so that post-war the Jews knew the total industrial organization of the US.  What they did with the information isn’t clear but let no good disaster go to waste.  Obviously the information given Baruch, a Wall Street speculator, was put to his good use regardless of any denials.

Along those lines I quote from Jordan Scwharz’s biography of Baruch, The Speculator, footnote to page 175:  

“From the diary of Colonel House, 25 March 1920, comes the report that a Democratic official, Harry Marsh, “said that he has kept a dictagraph record in which Baruch figures.  Among other things, Baruch tells his companions that he expects to rank in history as the greatest of all Jews.  In Baruch’s opinion, Disraeli was the greatest, but times were so different then and opportunities were [now] so much wider to do big things that he felt certain that he could eclipse him.”

 

We could argue about who is the greatest Jew of all time but obviously advancing the Jewish revolution was uppermost in Baruch’s mind.  His achievements with the WIB and his success in Paris for the Peace treaty probably seemed to him to be a big leg up.

What is clear is that Baruch had unlimited personal funds that he didn’t hoard but spread around liberally.  Money is an excellent tool as George Soros career today indicates.  Actually George Soros may be angling to be the greatest Jew of all time.

Baruch, for instance, was quite liberal in dispensing funds to his friend Winston Churchill who he cultivated assiduously, when he had no hope of repayment, but hopes for repayment in a different kind.

And once again his establishments were enormous.  Hobcaw, plus a wife, daughter and son in a huge mansion in NYC, other houses and many, many female relationships in which he was a Sugar Daddy.  He was on very good terms with FDR’s estranged wife, Eleanor, and at one time Clare Booth was his mistress who he relinquished to Henry Luce of Time, Life making her the famous Clare Booth Luce.  Her relationship to Baruch continued after her marriage. 

In his administration of the WIB, while most industries patriotically complied with his demands, the industrialists of Detroit objected strenuously refusing to comply.  Their product, trucks and autos, was not considered an essential industry so they were demanded to shut down.  One can imagine the rage.  Chief among these objectors was the redoubtable Henry Ford whose great River Rouge industrial complex  was fully integrated.  That meant that Ford owned all the means of his production, iron mines, coal mines, railroads, the whole works.  He felt himself self-sufficient and immune to threats.

He, the Dodge Brothers and others put up a tremendous battle with Baruch.  Harsh comments ensued with national epithets issued.  Baruch would not forget these.  Still as an ‘unessential industry’ in Baruch’s mind these companies were to be denied the materials to run their business, putting them out of business for the duration of the war and perhaps permanently.  When Ford proclaimed that his materials were secured, including a mountain of coal and that as this was America, the land of the free, Baruch could do nothing about it.

In this he was mistaken, Baruch could have commandeered Detroit’s plants, that he was reluctant to do, but he could commandeer Ford’s coal pile.  On that threat the Detroiters caved.

Still, the huge industrial complex that was Detroit couldn’t go idle in a war in which every industrial sinew was supposed to be dedicated to war production.  Besides if their plants were idled the whole city of Detroit would be unemployed.  A knotty problem for Baruch so orders were directed to Detroit. 

Ford was given the ridiculous task of mass producing so-called Eagle Boats.  These boats were small anti-submarine craft of which but few were delivered by war’s end.  The Navy designated these ships as PEs.  I actually served on one for a weekend as a high school Naval Reservist in 1956.  Very small, useless ships, poorly conceived and designed.  The living quarters were so tight as to be nearly torture chambers.  Just as well not many were made.

As the Czar of the WIB employing high handed methods that worked well during the war but in the cooler post-war atmosphere left lingering resentments that cost Baruch credibility.  Baruch labelled himself as one who held no grudges but that was mere camouflage.

One who worships the ‘God of Vengeance’ adopts the attitude of his god.  Baruch could not forgive the insult to his national identity.  Both of the Dodge Brothers died in 1920 under suspicious circumstances while an assassination attempt was made on Ford.  Of course, there was nothing indicating Baruch’s involvement.

Baruch said that he served without recompense, even using large amounts of his own money for government projects with no hope of recompense.  Many believed that he had used his position to loot a two hundred million dollar war chest.  It seems certain the latter must be true.  As corroboration, Baruch using his connection to Roosevelt is reported by FDR’s son-in-law, Curtis Dall, to have bought up one sixth of above ground silver before FDR’s election and shortly after the inauguration he induced FDR to raise the price of silver substantially.  How many millions he made by that was unrecorded.  Baruch was obviously refilling his war chest.

It would seem that from 1900 on Baruch was handling enormous amounts of money that he redistributed liberally to men and causes.  Yet, when he died in 1965 his estate had the paltry evaluation of only something over ten million and those were inflated dollars.  In 1900 terms it would be only five hundred thousand to a million dollars.  A rather inexplicable anomaly.

Baruch held no official positions during the drifting years of the twenties although Hoover used him and his expertise that he employed in much the same manner as Suss but he managed to maintain a reputation of advisor to presidents and the wisest of men.

For whatever reasons he busied himself with agricultural affairs apparently angling for a corner in wheat through Aaron Sapiro’s agricultural cooperatives.  This let to a further clash with Henry Ford.  Ford, himself with his own farm plan, scented the apparent conspiracy to control food stuffs by, in his opinion, the Jews, and set about to derail the scheme through a long series of exposes in his newspaper, the International Dearborn Independent.  This resulted in a lawsuit against him filed by Sapiro.  The result of that was a legal draw but the scheme was disrupted.  Baruch suffered a defeat.

Always as liberal with his opinions as with his money, Baruch pushed for a garrison State somewhat along the lines of the despised Prussians.  He urged President Harding to maintain ultimate preparedness for another or the next war.  It would seem then that WWII was already planned almost before the WWI was ended.

In this respect he cultivated relationships with key WWII military figures.  For some time Baruch had been cultivating and become an intimate of a politician some consider the foremost war monger of the period, Winston Churchill.  During the summers spent in Europe, this is really astonishing, Baruch would rent a ten thousand acre estate in Scotland from which to operate and to which he invited hundreds if not thousands of influential men and entertained them lavishly.  Over a month or two this must have amounted to an expenditure of at least a couple hundred thousand dollars.  He was then able to invite both notable Jews and Europeans so that the Jews could get the measure of the Europeans.  This also gave him occasions for learning and planning sessions for the upcoming WWII.

Baruch made a point of hanging with Winston Churchill even residing in Churchill’s home for a week or two.  He lent Churchill money with no hope of repayment.  Indeed, Churchill was also heavily in debt to the Rothschilds, of whom Natty Rothschild virtually supported him.  With that in mind, when Lindbergh was to say later that the only people who wanted to involve the US in the European war were the Jews, Churchill, (the English) and Roosevelt he definitely knew whereof he spoke.

As a warmonger Churchill certainly repaid the loans with interest by helping draw FDR and consequently the US into underwriting the entire war with his Lend-Lease plan and millions of US troops.  The whole American nation.

Astonishingly Churchill could not see the terrible consequences for England of another total war.  I have come to the conclusion that he was totally mad.  Consequently while his professed goal was to maintain the British Empire, he sacrificed it.

At home Baruch cultivated a relationship with an army Colonel by the name of Dwight David Eisenhower.  It would be a relationship lasting for twenty-five years during which Eisenhower was catapulted over numerous generals senior to him into the position of Commander of European operations, then post-war in the job (president) of Columbia University and from thence to two terms as President of the United States  Eisenhower would say that he was honored to sit at the feet of the wisest man he ever knew for twenty-five years.  People wonder how Eisenhower was promoted over all those senior generals.  Look no further than Bernard M. Baruch.  Eisenhower was Baruch’s last hurrah as Time removed him from the seat of operations.

The Jewish humorist Dorothy Parker once said that she knew Baruch was important, but what did he do.  He operated behind the scenes, that’s what he did.  Between Churchill who was the driving force getting the US into the war and as importantly Eisenhower after the war punishing German soldiers in violation of all the rules of war thereby acting for the Jews, this man, Baruch, may indeed have been able to claim that was as powerful as presidents.  Whether he became the most important Jew is history is apparently still an open question.

The WIB had shown industrialists what could be done.  The WIB had hundreds of supremely talented executives, dollar-a-men, organized into industrial cartels.  What lessons were these guys learning?  First they were told Trusts, or in other words, cartels, were bad, then under a Socialistic government bureau they were directed to form cartels.  This same lesson would be repeated in 1933 under Roosevelt when he formed the NIRA- National Industrial Recovery Act.  This was a Baruch inspired repeat of the WIB.  Baruch had worked with Colonel Hugh Johnson on the WIB and then maintained a close business relationship with him during the Interregnum. 

Now, Roosevelt appointed Baruch’s man to head the NIRA installing the same WIB program.  At the same time FDR was arresting and punishing the very men who had enacted this Socialistic/Democratic program.  These were interesting times indeed.

Baruch couldn’t worm his way into FDR’s confidence and was not called upon to serve although he ardently wanted it.  But, time was passing and as it did the men of the previous era lost their luster.  Passed over by FDR, Baruch would be openly insulted by Harry Truman.  Baruch endorsed his neophyte Eisenhower in 1952 but that was Baruch’s Last Hurrah.  He crossed the bar and put out to sea in 1965 under the Lyndon Johnson administration.

He had had an astonishing career over fifty years during which in one way or another an actor on the scene.  During his lifetime he had handled and apparently disbursed hundreds of millions of dollars that in today’s valuation would be many billions and then died with the pittance of less than million in today’s dollars.

The Conquest Of The World/The Concept of Aggressor Nations

 

The histories of the period from 1933-1945 are thoroughly unreliable as recorded by historians, mainly Jewish and/or Leftist writers.  A key concept of the period was the Rooseveltian conception of ‘aggressor nations.’  The concept of aggressor nations simply refers to any nations opposing the Leftist agenda.  In Roosevelt’s lexicon there were only three aggressor nations, Germany, Italy and Japan.  In Hitler’s terms the big war mongers were Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin that he considered aggressors.  Hitler feared Communism, the others feared Fascism, and Fascism, after all is merely a variation of Communism.  Ideologically there must have been something else going on.

Nowhere are the Jews denominated an aggressor nation while they were the motive force of the Second Thirty Years War.  Bernard Baruch a leader of the International Jewish community, and possibly the leader was in collusion with the leading US Jews to direct US policy and lead the country into war against Germany.  The attitude of what became the Allies was neither understanding nor kind. 

There were calls from all sides to commit genocide on the Germans and this long before the so-called Jewish holocaust.  German hatred began when Bismarck united Germany in 1866.  Prior to this unification Germany had been a congeries  of small principalities of the Holy Roman Empire, often seen as a joke, Ruritanian principalities to laugh at.

After the unification German hatred began in earnest from Russia to England.  After the Soviet Revolution Stalin began a campaign to commit genocide of Russia’s German populations.  Of a sudden Germany was not only an economic competitor but the master competitor with the West, that is France, England and the US while being the superior of Russia.  There is much evidence that WWI was as much about competition with England and France as with other issues.

To attribute the insanity of WWI solely to the Germans was an injustice of criminal proportions.  To impose impossible economic burdens on Germany when an armistice, not a victory, was declared was a crime of even greater proportions.  Turning the French Senegalese soldiers loose on German women ought to have been punished.

So, in 1933 as Hitler assumed the reins of government, the Jews as an aggressor nation were in control of Russia, would be in control of the US in March after Roosevelt’s inauguration and were active in all countries under the guise of the Third International directed from the Socialist power center of Moscow.

Prior to Hitler’s election, the Jews by their own admission had control of Germany.  One may then partially interpret their deep hatred of the man, Hitler.  The Jewish attitude to Hitler, and indeed, all Germany was evidenced by the fact that the Jewish spokesman, the US lawyer and AJC executive, Samuel Untermyer, declared war between Germany and the Jews.  This would have been a meaningless gesture had not Untermyer believed that Jews were directing Roosevelt and through Roosevelt the full power, such as it was in 1932, of the United States.

Considered objectively, the Jews had been conducting a civil war in Germany from the 1917 Soviet Revolution to 1933 when the Germans under Hitler triumphed.  As the leading part of this Communist Party street fighting between the Judeo-Communists had been raging for over a decade.  The true nature of the Nazis was their conflict with the Jews and Communists for supremacy.  All Western Europe, that is England and France, had to do was step back and let Germans, Soviets and Jews go at it.

As the English and French would not commit to peace with Germany Stalin was able to cleverly clear the way, to force, Gemany to attack France and England to protect his back by signing the German-Russian pact.  Remembering WWI Stalin may have thought that the three countries would wear themselves out making them easy pickings for th USSR.  The easy conquest of France may have startled Stalin. Even then the German’s could easily have defeated the Soviets except for the interference of the US.  What dog did Roosevelt have in the fight?  Very tragic.

In the US then, the Jewish war on or takeover of the US was being conducted according to the total war plan of Bernard Baruch’s WIB minus the shooting.  The European War was a shooting war but the US war was asymmetrical.  The US absorbed in the fantastic notion that immigrants renounced their customs and heritage upon setting foot on the Magic Soil were saps for Jewish machinations. 

Every war has to have its evil enemy.  In Germany Hitler concentrated on Jews while in the US the Jews found the Fascist or Nazi success in Europe the reason to call all opponents to their plans Fascists, Nazis and un-Americans.  The House Un-American Activities Committee was a plan of Jewish congressman Samuel Dickstein to denominate American dissenters as un-American covert Fascists and Nazis and to put them in concentration camps.  The result was that the Roosevelt Administration made war on Americans who dissented from his rule.  HUAC was created by Roosevelt and Dickstein to specifically attack dissenters while Communists were favored. 

Fortunately, Americans in Congress were wary of HUAC and so instead of appointing Dickstein, much to his chagrin, as head of HUAC the task was given to the patriot Martin Dies of Texas over the objections of Roosevelt and the Jews.  Dies interpreted his job to mean rooting out both Fascists and Communists who were in fact un-American while the dissidents were not.

A group needs figureheads more real than vague terms like Fascists and Communists, so that hatred was directed at Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh and the Catholic radio priest, Charles Coughlin.  These three men were chosen to be reviled and execrated although they were innocent of any wrong doing whatsoever.  There is absolutely no evidence, no reason to think that they betrayed the interests of the US to anyone.  Of course, Jewish-Rooseveltian propagandists succeeded in destroying the credibility of all three men.

Since 1933 the Jewish objective had been to get the US to attack Germany.  At that time when the Jews controlled the US and USSR while being, at least dominating in France and England the only obstacle to their plans was Germany.  Thus, the Jewish-Rooseveltian goal was to draw the US into a war on Germany.  The American people, however, recalling WWI unpleasantly had absolutely no desire to engage in any war at all.  To consider Germany as a threat to the US was ludicrous.  So while Ford, Lindbergh and Coughlin were taking the heat they were in tune with American desires.

The opposition barely restrained Roosevelt whose administration proclaimed that the US’ first line of defense was the Rhine deep within German territory.  Well before 1942 US warships were patrolling the Atlantic sinking German submarines, so the declaration of war in December of ’41 merely authorized Roosevelt to throw off the disguise.

Of course, the dissidents would organize as the administration more and more revealed its intent.  The dissidents did organize into a group called the America First Committee.  They strenuously opposed US involvement in the European War, they were therefore demeaned as Isolationists as though that presumed that everyone else was Internationalists like themselves.  Every opposition group requires a good pejorative label.  Thus the discussion was narrowed to two viewpoints.  The leaders of the AFC would turn out to be Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh the two great bete noirs of FDR and his Jews.

Charles Coughlin, who was known as the Radio Priest, having a radio audience in the millions, in a country of merely a hundred million gauges his significance.  He had no political organization however, indeed neither he nor the AFC made any attempt to organize a political party, hence power, being content to merely making noise.

By a few misjudgments, Coughlin sacrificed his position leaving himself open to attack.  His programs had been carried over the CBS radio network owned by the Jew William Paley.  Paley censored Coughlin closing the network to him while Jewish appeals to the Pope to silence Coughlin also had effect.  By 1940 Coughlin was a nullity.

Ford, but more especially Lindbergh was another story.  Lindbergh had become a great hero, idol actually, in 1927 when he became the first person to make a solo flight across the Atlantic- New York City to Paris.  He became a Golden Boy.  While a hero to millions Lindbergh also became an object of envy to a large number of men.  He was deemed Lucky Lindy as though anyone could have duplicated the deed.  Perhaps, but it was Lindbergh’s modesty that won the hearts of the world.  As is, or was, well known, the Lindbergh’s first baby was kidnapped and perished.  The press would not leave Lindbergh alone and so he fled to England for peace and quiet which he found.

As war appeared more likely he was asked by Roosevelt to review German air strength which he did.  In the process he became familiar with the actual political situation in Europe. His evaluation was different from Roosevelt’s.  While in Germany, the Germans were as taken by him as everyone else.  He was given a medal in commemoration of his trans-Atlantic flight.

Back home in the US Lindbergh having considered the European situation first hand, came to the conclusion that the US should not interfere in any war.  This sensible understanding was interpreted by Roosevelt, who ardently desired war, ardently he did, and was doing his best to provoke the Germans, as pro-Nazi and openly denounced Lindbergh as an actual Nazi.

This deranged desire for war may have been an indication of his desire to reclaim his manhood from polio.  The desire seems to have a compensatory foundation.

This fit in perfectly with Jewish needs for a villain to hang their hatred on.  They thus began to defame Lindbergh and provoke him as an actual Nazi agent.   According to their propaganda Lindbergh was going to run for president against Roosevelt, win, and become a Nazi satrap of the USA.  This notion was taken seriously, advanced. even though Lindbergh had made no effort to establish a political organization.  A propaganda novel was written called Keeper Of The Flame and a movie subsequently made to defame him.  Not even content with that, sixty years later the Jewish writer, Philip Roth, wrote a book, The Plot Against America, that repeated the same thesis, defaming Lindbergh’s fading memory.

While the Jews make much about the so-called genocide of themselves it is established that the Jews called for the genocide of the Germans publicly, first in a book supposedly written by some Jew from the colony of Newark by the name of Theodore Kaufman titled Germany Must Die.

It is inconceivable that Kaufman came up with this thesis out of the blue in 1940 or that it was his own idea.  His articulation must have come from a decade or even decades long Jewish fantasy.  Surely, he was provided notes or perhaps merely handed the manuscript and told to put his name on it.  This obscure book from a nonentity in Newark, one is amazed that it found a publisher, did not disappear without a trace as one might have expected.  No, it received massive exposure.  Time Magazine reviewed it favorably naturally, while many newspapers gave it favorable mention.  Even President Roosevelt began to consider the notion.

How did Kaufman propose to exterminate the German people?  Why he believed that the people would be disposed of in a generation if the males were all sterilized.  Bear in mind the book was published in 1940 and the US didn’t enter the war until the eve of 1942.  Quite singular don’t you think?  Where would the Jews get the power to sterilize German males?  Obviously they would be directing their militarily powerful American subjects.

The NSDAP soon learned about Kaufman’s Germany Must Die and they knew that some doofus in Newark was not acting on his own.  To be sure, the threat to commit genocide on them influenced their own notion of the Final Solution.  Why was the US involved in this fight?

Nor was Kaufman’s book an isolated incident.  Indeed, the Morgenthau Plan was proposed in Morgenthau’s book Germany Is Our Problem, copyright 1945.  Who is the ‘our’ referred to in the title, certainly not the US, obviously the Jews.  Once again the US was called upon to eliminate the Germans and Germany from the face of the earth.  It would be the Americans who did it, not the Jews.  In that way the Jews could maintain their innocence.

Henry Morgenthau Jr. was FDR’s Secretary of the Treasury and according to Morgenthau the assistant president.  If not earlier, in FDR’s last two terms he was completely in the hands of Jewish handlers if not their surrogate.  Indeed, Morgenthau considered himself a co-president with FDR.  Bernard Baruch was frequently referred to as an assistant president as well, perhaps mockingly.  This was in the critical period of war’s end when Jewish plans were to be put into effect.  Morgenthau’s plan called for the elimination of Germany as a country along with its people.  Truly, when Hitler said that he knew that if the Germans failed their heads would roll in the sand.  And there were twenty millions of Russians starved to death to prove it.

But, to return to Lindbergh and Ford.  In a country in which the executive could eliminate people at will there can be no doubt that Ford and Lindbergh would have been disappeared along with the whole of America First.  But was that possible?  Could that happen here?

A strange thing happened to the Jewish mind that coalesced in 1940.  The Jews believed that they were the true Americans; that the beautiful thing called America was their creation, considering Roosevelt as their creature, any who opposed his administration, that is themselves, were actually Fascists and Nazis and no longer true Americans.  Ford and Lindbergh were actually Nazis in their minds out to subvert ‘their’ America and turn it into a dependency of Nazi Germany.

In 1940 the Nazi-Soviet pact was still in force yet there was still no outcry against the Communist USSR, the full force of hatred was directed only at Germany.  By Germany I do not mean Nazi Germany but Germany and Germans as a whole.  Thus they actually urged the genocide of Germans.  Even today a great effort is made to convict every German, living or dead, as participating in the so-called genocide of the Jews.

It is a great mistake to not recognize the true nature of WWII, a war that is still raging.

So, just as the Jews would be rounded up in Germany in later years so the Jews wanted US dissidents rounded up and put in concentration camps as early as 1940.  While urgent to themselves the notion was incomprehensible country wide.  However, after the shooting war began, all of the most prominent dissidents were arrested and indicted on criminal charges.  This was too much for many in the government  who delayed the trial until 1944 when with victory imminent interest waned and the matter frizzled out.

Still, in 1940 the actual interference of the America First Committee prevented the administration, the Jews and the British from joining together in the war.  It is necessary to point out that the vast majority of the country supported he AFC position.  The administration still had their ace in the hole, anti-Semitism, if they could get the card played.

Lindbergh helped out on 9/11/41 with a speech in Des Moines Iowa when he said that the only people who desired war were Roosevelt, the Jews and the English.  There it was, anti-Semitism, or seemingly so.  Lindbergh and the AFC were discredited but that still wasn’t permission to mobilize.  That came a couple months later on 12/7/41 when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.  Even then that was no excuse to enter the European war.  That happened a few days later when Hitler declared war on the US because of treaty obligations with Japan.  Silly, but he did it.  That ended US involvement even though Hitler’s declaration was futile.  He had no means to attack the US.

Ever since the Balfour Declaration issued unilaterally  by Great Britain and binding on no one else, that essentially guaranted Palestine to the Jews, they had seriously been working toward seizing the Arab territory to rename it Israel.  The main provocateur was a man called Chaim Weizman.  While the pot was stirred up by WWII which everyone knew before a shot was fired that Germany would lose, Weizman unconnected to any government, working strictly as a putative representative of the Jewish nation, unaffiliated, was working behind the scenes to move the political situation toward securing Palestine as the possession of the Jews.  He collaborated, that is conspired, with US Jewish agents that included Ben Hecht the playwright and Meyer Lansky of the Jewish Mafia.  These men conspired to move armaments to Palestine in violation of US laws.  Had Roosevelt lived, the establishment of Israel would have been a given but his successor Harry Truman required some cozening or threats, that is manipulation, so that by 1948 the Jews achieved their goal and Israel was a fact.  WWII had been a success.  Thus, by using their criminal underground and political above ground agents the Jews acted as a unit world wide.

Back to 1940 and the elimination of the dissidents.  As I said, by 1940 he Jews actually considered themselves as the real founding fathers, the real Americans of the US.  The dissidents had been successfully portrayed as Fascists if in not outright Nazis and hence un-American;  Immigrants had displaced natives in their own homeland and really with their own consent no less than the Jews would oust the Palestinians from their homeland.

The problem was how to dispose of those natives.  It was easy enough to get the Roosevelt government to indict them, but it was necessary to get public opinion to condemn them.  All enemies must be hated and quite frankly Ford and Lindbergh were still great American heroes but they did run with the so-called Isolationist crowd.  Therefore the Nativist or Isolationist crowd had to be slandered as a whole.

The American public had to be persuaded to see the Nativists, today called Conservatives, as the Jews saw them.  The Jews were, of course, absolutely convinced of their own virtue so that Nativists were ipso-facto anti-Semites.  The idea then was to make it virtuous to hate Nativists.  Hatred had to be created and it had to legal.

The Roosevelt administration had begun with a hate campaign against their predecessors, against the Old Guard of the Gilded Age, against Wall Street.  A hate campaign against Roosevelt’s opponents, that is Nativists and Isolationists was an easy step.  And the man to lead it was available.  He was a Jewish writer by the name of Gustavus Myers.
